The U.S. Center for World Mission (USCWM) is a community dedicated to making the glory of God fully known, and to bringing all the people groups on the earth to worship and obey God (as revealed in the Lord Jesus Christ). The USCWM produces and publishes resources to motivate and equip Christ's body to join Him in His Biblical purpose to "bless all the families of the earth" (Genesis 12:1-3). The USCWM also engages in a variety of activities toward ensuring, as soon as possible, that each distinct people group is "reached" — that a viable movement is established to evangelize and disciple each people group.

The Lausanne Committee for World Evangelism seeks to encourage and stimulate the involvement of churches, denominations, ministries, networks and individuals in the cause of world evangelization. Their site includes a large number of documents related to global evangelism. The site also includes the option to sign-up for a free monthly, subscriber-only ENewsletter that details news about Lausanne as well as stories, reports and information on evangelism trends and links to evangelism-related web sites.

The urbana.org is a place to learn about global mission, God's will, and be challenged by the world's needs. For sixty years, God has been using Urbana conventions to change the lives of students and to advance His Kingdom in our world. The website includes mission articles, news briefs, resources from prior conferences including audio/video, and an opportunity to sign up for a monthly e-newsletter.
- The International Missionary Training Network is dedicated to fostering effective, missionary training practices among our global Evangelical Christian constituencies.
- Community Health Evangelism(CHE) provides ministry strategy for proclaiming the love of Jesus in word and deed among the poor in the developing world. Through CHE local residents are mobilized into every home in their community to provide long-term solutions to the temporal needs of the family and at the same time to proclaim the forgiveness of sins through faith in Christ. Volunteers from the community visit their neighbors, teaching about both clean water and the Living Water; about how to grow gardens and how to grow with God. The International Journal of Frontier Missions seeks to promote intergenerational dialog between senior and junior mission leaders; cultivate an international fraternity of thought in the development of frontier missiology; and more. They produce a print edition and have well over a hundred free mission articles posted in the Archives section.
- The Intercultural Press offers books in print about various intercultural experiences. These books cover a scope greater than only a Christian perspective and provide opportunities to learn about cross-cultural challenges focusing on specific locations and peoples from around the world.

- Pastor Kevin at Southway Community Church has developed an online planning tool for short term mission trips. - The article Reaching the World Short-Term by Paul Borthwick, discusses some good reasons to have short-term missions. He notes that short-term missions challenge and transform people’s view of God, they transform people’s theological world-view, and they challenge people about entering lives of long-term service to the Lord around the world.
