It is important to start this process several months in advance of the team's departure.

• Ask team members to begin the Passport application process (some people may first need to get a Birth Certificate). The LOI is dependent on having these.
• If it is required, obtain a Letter of Invitation (LOI) from a Christian contact in the destination country. This requires passport numbers from each team member.
