Send an Acceptance packet
After selecting the team members, it's important to let team members know, in a timely fashion, of their acceptance to the team. Send each team member an Acceptance Packet, officially indicating that they are part of the team.
An acceptance packet should include the following:
- A cover page explaining the team member's acceptance to the team.
- A list of key dates, such as mandatory team meetings and fund-raising due dates.
- Information regarding passports, if obtaining one is necessary for the trip.
- Information regarding fund-raising, including some brief general principles, as well as some sample support letters.
